Register of Business Interests

From 1 September 2015, governing bodies will be under a duty to publish, on their website, their register of interests. The register should set out the relevant business interests of governors and details of any other educational establishments they govern. The register should also set out any relationships between governors and members of the school staff including spouses, partners and relatives.

Relevant business interests are:

Ben Duckworth - business interests at Craggs Energy Ltd, Craggs Environmental Ltd, Craggs Fuel Cards Ltd and Greenarc Energy Ltd

Diversity Information

The Governors of Barnoldswick Church of England Primary School believe it is important that Governing Boards reflect the diversity of the school communities they serve.  Diverse boards promote inclusive school environments and provide diverse role models for staff and young people.  The Governors are currently collecting data on the diversity of the board, including data on age, gender and ethnicity.  They will use the data to inform their recruitment and training needs and ensure there is always a diverse range of perspectives around the table to support robust decision making.  At the present time, we do not publish this diversity data online, as individual Governors could be identified, and we have a legal obligation to protect their personal data.
