We are very pleased to share our recent Ofsted report and we are delighted at the Inspectors findings of our school. We continue to be a good school.
We received an Outstanding Grade for Personal Development showing that school consistently promotes the extensive personal development of pupils.
Children at Barnoldswick Church of England Primary School have access to a curriculum which is ambitious and gives all children the knowledge they need to succeed in life and leaders of our school have a clear ambitious vision for providing a high quality of education to all pupils.
The outstanding grade shows the school goes beyond the expected, so that pupils have access to a wide, rich set of experiences. We have opportunities for pupils to develop their talents and interests which are of exceptional quality. This includes activities such as forest school sessions, careers week, music and sporting events, links with the church and many more enterprises which benefit our pupils.
Our most disadvantaged pupils consistently benefit from the excellent work in school.
Our activities in school provide these rich experiences in a coherently planned way, in the curriculum and through extra-curricular activities, and they considerably strengthen the school’s offer.
The way our school goes about developing pupils’ character is exemplary and is worthy of being shared with others. Therefore, myself and the Governors, would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support you give to us. This ensures our pupils are happy and successful in school and develop into fully rounded and confident individuals to succeed in life.
Kind Regards – Michelle Ellis (Headeacher)
