PRIMARY PE AND SCHOOL SPORT PREMIUM

VISION FOR THE PRIMARY PE AND SPORT PREMIUM

ALL pupils leaving primary school physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport

The Reporting Tools above reflect the refreshed Department for Education Guidance that was unveiled on the 25th October 2018.  They detail:

  1. a full breakdown of how we've spent the funding
  2. the effect of the premium on pupils' PE and sport participation and attainment
  3. how we'll make sure these improvements are sustainable

The Association for Physical Education (afPE) has been commissioned by Sport England to produce an information leaflet for parents/carers outlining the importance of children and young people being active. afPE recognises how important children and young people’s physical health and emotional well-being are and the relationship between these and academic achievement.
